Fresh Sydney Rock Oysters

Award Winning Sydney Rock Oysters

Oysters, like wine & cheese, have a distinct flavour, depending where they are grown

Location

Pambula Lake, Pambula New South Wales, Australia. Is a well-traveled destination for holidaymakers. Pambula is a historic village between Merimbula and Eden on the Sapphire Coast of NSW. Come down and see us some time.

Unique Taste

Pambula Lake oysters have a smooth, subtle flavour influenced by the water in which they are produced.

Quality

The clean, clear waters of Pambula Lake on the Sapphire Coast of NSW are a combination of fresh water moving down the Pambula and Yowaka rivers, and tidal exchange from the Pacific Ocean — this is the perfect recipe for the production of the finest Sydney Rock Oysters you will ever taste.

Freshness

Fresh ocean saltiness — oyster creaminess — with a delicious vegetable/mineral after taste that lingers on the palette long after the oyster is devoured.

What Our Customer Saying?

No matter how many oysters you've tried before their Sydney Rock Oysters will delight you with their subtle flavour difference that can only be created from the pristine waters of Pambula Lake.
We are already quite big fans of eating them, but they taste so much better when they're freshly caught and you shuck them yourself. Mel was a great teacher, and they had some fantastic sauces and accompaniments for those who are a bit nervous about the taste.

Shell of a good time

Beautiful fresh oysters freshly picked. The best fresh oysters I've had, definitely recommend. Nice spot by the lake to eat oysters and enjoy the quiet. Excellent price too.

Best and freshest oysters in Merimbula/Eden

Nice helpfull staff. Bought 4 dozen in their shells to bring back to Melbourne. Actually also interesting to visit when they are working as the shop is right by the machine that sorts them. You can buy ready to eat and sit on some local pinic area seats by the fishing club and have a feed. They also post them to you and you can order on line.
